It wasn't until I became a mother myself and was looking for swim lesson options for my son that I learned about ISR. Having a small lake in our backyard, learning how to navigate the water was a non-negotiable. After extensive research, I was convinced that self-rescue lessons were the best fit for our family
With no options for ISR in Craven County, I was encouraged by my husband to take a leap of faith and bring ISR to our community. In 2021, I began my journey of making the water a safer place one child at a time. Living in a town where we are surrounded by water, it's important to understand that drowning knows no season.
